You can generally pick up nylon bridles for less than $30. But if you are looking for real leather, try finding Kincade brand bridles. I bought mine for $29 at my local tack store, I keep it oiled and you couldn’t tell it apart from a $200+ bridle. Alternately, for slightly more, buy a Suffolk brand bridle from Dover (sorry SmartPak). I also have one of those, the fancy stitch padded and I got it for $35 on a coupon sale in the catalog (I think they are like $50 now straight price) and people always ask where I got my “super nice” bridle from. As long as you keep it clean and well oiled, cheap bridles are really nice.
