I know this post is dead, but I use Sore No More on my mare. She stocks up bad when stalled or when is in to small of an area. Sore No More is a poultice (I call it mud for short because that is what it looks like) and it works really well for me. I put all over her back legs when she is in a tight space for a while. I also use Absorbine Veterinary Liniment (gel or liquid), I put this on her for short periods of stall time (it also helps with her arthritis pains). Water Therapy helps a lot, I do this also in the summer. Hope this helps and you find some answers!!
