I don’t really agree with most of you. All horses are different. Some horses need to be corrected with a whip or a stick by hitting them or tapping them with it. Some horses are more aggressive and get what they want, and sometimes people don’t even know that they are letting the horse get away with what they want. It just depends on how the horse is. Some of the time it is the rider or trainer, but you have to be the leader even if you have get the stick out and use it. And doing ground work is not just for training horses, you can use it with any horse. Broke, green or a colt. It doesn’t matter. If you do your ground work every time before riding it will keep the horse from developing a bad attitude or habit.
