Here, I hope, are some pics. One from the sale (she weighed 712 lbs., came from the kill pen and her meat price was $173). I don’t have any really good recent pictures of her, but she now looks like a horse. Our fearless 17 year old eventer rode her the other day, and she (Rowan, not Susan) was very calm – she was a total nervous wreck when she first arrived. The first time she saw the tractor, she was in her stall eating dinner, and she leaped to the back and cowered in a corner. This week, we were outside while she ate her soup, the tractor went by, and all she did was raise her head, shrug, and returned to the soup.
