Just in case anyone was wondering what happened, he goes fine in his bitless bridle. I saw “dr. cooks” mentioned at least once in the thread. We went with a “Nurtural” bitless bridle.
He seems to like this bridle better than the bitted one and drives just as well as he did with the bit. Now we just need to wait for spring so I can take him out into the pastures and take him for a real test drive 🙂
