I personally would leave them alone and keep a close watch on them. Removing often does aggravate them and they grow back faster/bigger. If they are not interfering with the horse’s comfort, then I just wouldn’t want to take the risk of making it worse. However if you find they are starting to grow quickly I would be more inclined to seek treatment.
