I swear by soaked beet pulp and stabilized rice bran. Most horses dont care for beet pulp alone, so mixing it with the rice bran and or grains will help. I feed my 5 year old TB mare a combination of the beet pulp, rice bran and ultium competition. I dont feed as much of the ultium as is recommended (I feed about 4-6 cups a day). She LOVES it, and looks amazing, one of the best looking TB’s Ive seen and is often confused for a QH or Warmblood.
