WMB Kahiil Jihad
(WMB Kahiil Hisan x WMB Lass Ole)
Jihad is a purebred Arabian stallion, AHR#433202 If you want to geld him, that’s fine with me. Jihad is 15.1 hands and 24 years old, black with a star and 4 socks. The picture is at age 22. I got him specifically to breed to my Arabian mare. Unfortunately, Jihad is sterile. He has won some class A halter championships in his younger days and was shown hunter pleasure. He has also been trail ridden. He has a wonderful disposition, correct conformation and lots of type. He has a beautiful head that doesn’t show up in the pictures. He does have some calcium deposits in his left front knee. He was lame when I got him. The vet injected his knee and he was sound for 12 months before he started acting like it might be bothering him. It was injected again and he is sound now. Because of this, the vet recommends riding him at a walk only. He would be perfect for someone who just wants to go on some leisurely trail rides or someone wanting a parade horse. He would look great in a native costume. He would probably need shoes if you were going to ride on anything rocky. He’s very easy to handle. I only used a chain on him when we were breeding and he‘s very well mannered. If someone is looking for a teasing stallion, that is another job he would be good at because he’s a gentleman. He clips, even his ears without someone holding him, bathes, loads and trailers well. He’s quiet in his stall and paddock. Super nice to work with. If you want a movie star, he’s the grandson of Cass Ole+, the horse who played the Black Stallion in the movies. I will be very picky where this horse goes. I will start with a free lease and then, if it works out for both of us, the papers can be transferred. I’m not opposed to him being turned out with some mares or geldings if they get along and the fences are good. No barbed wire. Located in Aumsville, OR
