I recently found out that my Appaloosa Gelding does intact have DDSP.
He is fine at a walk and a jog, but it becomes apparently clear at a lope or a run that he is DDSP Pos. He also seems to show no symptoms while being stalled or out in the pasture. I am assuming he has a very mild case. In which anti-inflammatory supplements may dissolve most of his breathing issues when doing any extensive work out. Surgery is not something i want to do. I would like to manage this the best way possible.

Does anyone own a horse that suffers from DDSP?
What did you find worked the best for your horse?
Have you ever tried the Cornell band?
What is the best supplement for a horse with DDSP?
ANY AND ALL INPUT WOULD BE AWESOME!

    THANK YOU!!

I had to look this one up! The only recommendations I saw were either a tongue tie or surgery. Best of luck with this. Sounds like something that really requires working closely with your vet.

It is never the horse's fault
