So my TB has dropped about 150 pounds over the winter (He’s on a regular deworming routine) The boarding barn I keep him at has started putting him on grass, and I’ve had him on Fat Cat for about a month. I’ve only noticed a little change in his weight, but I don’t know what is doing it. The grass, or the Fat Cat. My question is, what supplements have you guys found that works the best? Thank you 🙂

Oh! and he is only 6, so age is not an issue

I hope your horse has gained some weight at this point. I’ve found that Nutrena Empower Boost does the job really well. If that’s not available, Manna Pro’s Max-E-Glo is fine. My 2 boys love both of these and I keep it on hand when they want an after dinner treat. It not only adds weight/muscle, but a beautiful coat, as well.

Just to mention — both of the above contain rice bran, which is great for weight gain. I used to feed my mare black oil sunflower seeds for weight gain, as well. It’s a safe fat and she loved it like m&m’s — shells and all! Just make sure it’s the black oil sunflower seeds. Blue seal makes it in big bags. Try a little at first — you can always feed it to the birds!
