Fitz is overall a great horse, I’ve owned him for a little over 2 years and he has taught me so much. When I originally bought him, he was a jumper and I wanted to do the equitation with him. It took some time to get he him it calm down and we still are working with him on that. He has been to some shows, but unfortunately, last December in 2013 he was kicked in turnout and had a fracture to his front left radius. After about 4 months of time off and heeling he started going back to light work and In July he was given the go that he can return to full activity of jumping. We do have all up to date X-rays of his leg. He is a great horse of you’re willing to put your time into him and work with him. He loves to do the jumpers but if you truly wanted to do the eq he could. He does great in the 2’6″ – 2’9″. He is friendly but I do suggest that an experienced rider ride him because he is a lot to handle for a new rider or one that is not comfortable with a horse that has a faster pace.
