My miniature horse had road foundered two winters ago. Took months, but my awesome farrier kept at it and she finally cleared up. A good month ago she started a new flare up. This seems worse. Help!! Anything that may help me to help her through this bout of founder????

IF you have her on grass, limit to at night only as long as the evenings are cool and the days are warm.

Minis really seem prone to founder when on grass. I know someone who spent a fortune on hers, only to lose them because of it. Get your vet involved as soon as you can.

It is never the horse's fault
