This is a fantastic saddle, a rare find in the states. 17.5″ seat, #4 (wide) spring tree, Windsor Greenline dressage saddle. Soft, quality leather, deep seat for optimal position and balance and a generous, supportive, external thigh block.
Soft, wide panels, V-billet girthing system. Saddle is in excellent condition, a couple scuffs on the cantle and normal along the flaps but it has clearly been well cared for. I hate to see it go but there are only so many shims that will fit in my Thinline.
Asking $900 shipped OBO (lower 48, outside of that, buyer to pay actual shipping costs)
I’ve ridden an old Windsor probably similar to the Redline model. I have a question about the Greenline model: does the generous external thigh block interfere with standing in a two-point position? I am looking for a dressage saddle that can double as a comfortable endurance ride saddle.
Also, would it be possible to take it on trial if I pay for shipping? Where is the saddle located?
