Hoof heal soreness please help!

    My horse ellies heels are sore and tender making her off. We had the vet come out and thats what he diagosned. I have been working with her in the field and she is much less tender. In the arena and sand she is defiently off. I have tried many things to imporve her heel soreness. Any ideas or products to try? Please help i will try anything!

    We have tried 6 diffrent pairs of shoes and nothing jad completley made it go away. He is unsure if what to do now

    Have you tried Easy Boots? If that is what they are really called? Something that would keep the heels raised with no pressure?

    The first thing that I would recommend doing would be to give her some time off. Then, see if she could have injured them in some way in the field or in her stall. Maybe you could try giving her some type of medicine.
