I have a gelding who goes bananas everytime one of his friends in the pasture wear new clothes. It is like he doesn’t even recognize them. He will chase, squeal, bite, and kick at them for a day or two then he goes back to his normal friendly self. Anything from a new fly sheet to a clean blanket, what is his deal? He wears clothes too and never has a problem with his own outfits. He seems to hate the change, How can I mitigate his aggression when someone else changes blankets? Anyone else have this problem?
Hi, reggie8, I can honestly say I never had this problem, and never knew a horse that did! Maybe he’s reacting to the smell?
