Has anyone successfully used isoxsuprine for ringbone relief? About 25 years ago an old style farm vet recommended it for my aged Polish Arabian mare. Because of the medication she was able to be trail ridden without pain or soreness up to a year or two before dying at the age of 34.
My current barn owner has an aged QH with ringbone and is treating with bute but shows little improvement. I couldn’t find a lot of internet information on isoxsuprine other than saying some had good results using for laminitis and others did not.
