I’ve never used a muscle supplement for my horses (my current QH, Cody, is plenty big on his own, haha!), but I asked some other SmartPakers and one rider said she had good results using SmartMuscle Mass (http://bit.ly/16OpBTv) on her horse in rehab, and several others said that they’ve had success supporting their horses with Tri-Amino (http://bit.ly/16OpnvF). That said, every horse is different so you should definitely check with your vet if you have any questions. Hope that helps! – SmartPaker Sarah

I recommend SmartMuscle Mass Pellets. I started using it over a yr ago for a growing 2yr old appendix QH, now a coming 4yr old.My vet recommended I try a muscle builder. It didn’t change his energy level at all. It did add muscle to his top line, hind Qtrs. and neck. His over all appearance improved tremendously. I noticed a difference in a couple of weeks. He needed a little more weight, because how he was growing at the time. I also started him on a rice bran pellet, per the vets advice. The combination worked great for him.

I also have had good results with SmartMuscle Mass pellets. Helped my husbands QH build muscle & gain a little weight, & used them on my OTTB mare to help her topline. Good product! Call & get a sample so you can make sure your horse likes it! :)

No-he was an older QH that just needed some ‘filling in’—-so I think the supplement did what it was supposed to do by helping with the muscles & making him look fuller. My mare looked great on it–she did not gain weight, per se, just muscle. Hope that helps! :)

The SmartMuscle Mass Pellets didn’t make him gain weight. It helped establish more muscle in the correct places, like the top line and hind quarters.

Thank you! I was looking for a before picture. I didn’t have one that I wasn’t in it. That pictures was taken a couple months after being on the muscle mass.
