Hi Everyone! I am on the search for a new jumping saddle! I am looking for a nice pretty leather saddle for jumping. I love the look of Devoncoux saddles but I know I will not be able to afford it right now. My budget is a max. of $1,500. I like secure and deep seated saddles. An adjustable gullet would be nice as well but definitely not necessary. Please help and leave suggestions below! Thank you all in advance!!

You might want to look into a used saddle. I got a very nice Stubben dressage saddle on ebay for a fraction of what it would have been new. I prefer the Stubben Sigfried I’ve had since 1969 for hunting, but I don’t do jumpers, so not sure what would best suit your needs.

    Hi,
I have a Bates Elevation saddle with cair panels and the gullet change system. ( I do not have the gullet packe)
I’m not sure what gullet is in at the moment as this is my first Bates saddle and I’m wary of messing with it to check gullet.
I have only used it for shows and for trying out my new horse.
It is stamped a 16.5 but measures 17″.
Saddle is in like new condition except for a few grey horse hairs where the block velcros on.
The billets have a little leather blooming (will come off) other than that saddle is like new.
I do have it on Ebay at the moment, but if I have interest on the forum would take it off.
I would like to get $1200 including shipping, but I’m willing to negotiate a willing.
Full price would come with like new Bates leather and a Toulouse leather and sheepskin (not removable) girth in a 54″ or plain leather in a 50″.

Full price would come with like new Bates leathers (have a little black on from my boots but other wise perfect, and a Toulouse leather and sheepskin (very clean) (not removable) girth in a 54″ or plain leather in a 50″.
My only reason for selling is because I sustained a bad concussion and cannot ride for the rest of the season.

Sorry for all my posts I tried to remove them but with no luck.
I’m not sure if I should put this in classifieds. I’m new to forum so any tips would be extremely helpful.

Main tip is that posting is VERY, VERY slow. Try to hit the “submit” button once only, and very gently. Then go make a cup of coffee or something while waiting for your post to show up.

Thank you very much for the info.
I’m sorry I posted all those replies…I can use my concussion as an excuse 🙂
    I appreciate your help.
    Heather.
