Are there supplements or anything that I might start now~ before the spring grass comes on~ to prevent my older gelding from getting sore? I realize keeping him off the grass entirety or using a grazing muzzle would work ~ but I was wondering if there was something else I might try.

A supplement was recommended by others here in the forum which prompted me to try it: Remission. My vet approved of it and I have been using it. I would also recommend early morning grazing only as that is when sugar content in the grass is at its lowest. (I prefer limiting grazing time to using the muzzle.)
