Sun sensitive eyes

    I thought I would pass along this information. One of the horses at our barn would always start shaking her head during rides or occasionally when out in pasture. The owner thought it might be a neurological problem. Through another rider, it was discovered that Summer had very sensitive eyes to sunlight. It is a very painful condition and now Summer always wears a fly mask and also wears a sun shield that attaches to her bridle when being ridden. Always check with your vet when questioning behavior problems .

    Thanks for posting this. Some Turn Out Fly masks are specifically made to screen out UV rays.
