Because there are so many different supplements out there now along with far more knowledge, best to know exactly what you are looking to achieve with them and what exactly is lacking or needed. Then research the web. SmartPak has plenty of good info as do most of the supplement companies. Ukele, Horsetech, SmartPak, Farnham, Animed, etc (assuming you are USA). Also, most of these sites will have comparison charts that are really handy when faced with a bazillion options and products. Also be aware that some supplements can take up to 6 weeks to show any result.

Know your horse. What works for one might do nothing for another.
    Talk to your vet.
    Talk to your farrier.
    Research the products.

Sure there's right and wrong but mostly there's just a whole lotta different.

    I agree with pheets.
I have found that the daily biotin supplement works well for my 3, but they also get a grain that has copper and zinc in it, along with omega horseshine.
i really liked the smartflex rehab when i was giving my one boy joint supplements. it made a huge difference for him in the winter time and then i would drop him down to the smartflex senior in the warmer months.

I had used Hoofbuilder BioFarmab for my horse and I got good results. My horse’s hooves look strong now as compared to the earlier. For more information about BioFarmab you can click on this link:
