I am a member of the University of Rhode Island Dressage team. We are a small team of around 10 girls and we compete against other universities around us during both the fall and spring semesters. Unfortunately URI is not giving us the support we need in order to continue as a team for this semester and left us to fundraise around $10,000. Without donations, we will not be able to afford our horses and continue as a team.
If you would like to donate, there are two ways you can do this. The first way is to write a check made out to “URI Senate” and but “URI Dressage Team” in the memo. This can be done by contacting me directly. The second way to donate is online through our GoFundMe page which can be found at:
Thank you so much for your consideration and your support. It would mean a lot if you donated, and any amount helps pay for the care of our horses including vet bills, board, shoeing, and food.
