I ride a Paint/QH gelding, and I’m looking for a new halter for him. He is a school horse and always wears his halter in the paddock, and it is starting to rub. I absolutely love this one:

The only problem is that it is cob sized and I don’t know if it will fit. Bridles are often too long on him and too tight in the throatlatch, but I don’t know if he is really cob sized. What do you think? Do you have other halter reccomendations?

Does he have a large head? I was told my paint wore cob sized bridles. Never tried it though. He has a large head, big jowls. He has a stallion head. And its hard to find things to fit him. I use the weaver halters. Theyre softer and decently priced. I’d do a horse size for him.

He is wearing a horse sized halter at the moment I think. The noseband comes too far down his nose and is on the big side, and the throatlatch is almost too tight. He is about 15.2hh, and doesn’t have a huge head but it isnt small either
